WE thank God there is peace in Anambra State, most especially in the area of security.

Governor Obiano also did well by sending Okada out of Awka and Onitsha. Kidnaping has reduced to the barest minimum but the most worrisome in the state now is cult issues among our youths. It is a big threat to the state. I advice government to mount CCTV cameras. As they empowered the Ministry of Utilities to be in-charge of the whole street lights, so should they empower security operatives to be in-charge of CCTV to fish out these cult members. This will solve the problem of cult in the state.

Again, I want the sitting government to make Awka a capital city. I want to ask previous governments, is there anything done by Awka people that made them to neglect Awka as a capital? Royal Vanguard as P.R.O .I saw the way he developed Lagos State. Awka people had a summit with a former governor of Anambra State and he said that Awka people refused development.

We went ahead and called a town hall meeting and announcement was made that any person that his or her wall is on the street should go and remove it. It is not individuals that dictate for government what to do.

Nobody is stopping them from developing Awka. Since 1991, Awka has been a glorified village, not a capital.
Anambrarians travel to Ebonyi State and know how it looks. I am expecting Anambra State to have a more beautiful look than Ebonyi State.
