We are confident ahead Seychelles game – Rohr

GERNOT Rohr who happens to be the technical coach of Super Eagles as giving his assurances to fans against sychelles in the AFCON qualifies.

Eagles technical adviser, Gernot Rohr  also confirmed that he will line his wards out for special drills on artificial surface once their open camp ahead of the trip to Seychelles.

Though Rohr disclosed that he invited four new players for the match, because he is building for the future, he equally stated that he is confident of victory against Seychelles.

The Franco-German tactician declared emphatically: “We have a good team going into the match. We are confident going to the game against Seychelles.

“We have invited four new players to beef up the team. They are Jamilu Collins, Semi Ajayi, Kelechi Nwakali and Samuel Kalu.

“All the new boys will add quality to the team. I want to see goals, victory, a team playing with motivation. The major objective is to see a team that gives joy and entertainment.

“We will train three times at a synthetic grass. We want to practice on this special pitch before the game to be used to it and have possibility of playing different brand of football.

“I want to see goals and players approaching game with confidence. We must play short and precise passes. It will be interesting for us to prepare ahead of the game.

In preparation for AFCON qualifiers, Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have finalised plans for the Super Eagles to get at least three training sessions on a synthetic pitch ahead of their September 7 battle with Seychelles
