Community leader bemoans disturbing attitude of new generation churches

OBI Ezeani of Ahazu kindred, Ndiakwu Otolo Nnewi, Francis Emeka Chukwuma, has described influx of over 15 new generation churches in that area as disturbing.

Reacting on the proliferation of these churches within his domain, Chief Chukwuma remarked that these new generation churches always at all hours and in all days of the week raise their micro phones with unrestful loudspeakers in competition with other existing churches in his area.

He said that they had constituted themselves into a body of “Know all in God” hence, they shout to their loudest voices which drive away night sleep from them and other neighbouring villages.

He called on Anambra State House of Assembly to lmake a law “that will restrict them from becoming burdensome to others.

He commended Governor Willie Obiano for the construction of Ndiaku-Nwafor Orizu Road that links Nnewi, Amichi and Okigiri Federal Highway. He however alerted the governor that part of that constructed road is caving in bits by the side with huge holes.

He appealed to the governor to send the contractor for the repairs of those holes on that road as the rains are threatening its bad portion and may escalate in further rainfalls of this year.
