Former NPA operations director guns for senate

AN APGA chieftain, Okey Oduma Chidolue, has declared interest in gunning for the Senate in Anambra State South Senatorial Zone.

Speaking to our correspondent in his country home in Nnewi, Dr. Chidolue spelt out some of his legislative agenda which anchored in pursuing more agric programmes with fertilizer plant to boost cultivations with a functional jetty at Onitsha, having as an  maritime lawyer, handled such in U.S.A.

He said that he would ensure sound functioning of information technology, which he described as the future. He talked of establishing a self sustaining ICT incubation center in each of the seven local governments that make up Anambra South Senatorial Zone within his first two years in office when voted into office.

He said that as quintessential public servant, with relevant experience,  the ICT project will reduce youth mass-unemployment with self reliant trainings  and empowerment through skills acquisition which according to him, its absence fuelled criminal and nefarious activities which reigned supreme before the advent of APGA in the state.

He said that his undiluted leadership of Nnewi indigenes in U.S.A as its president from 1994-1998 and all the sensitive offices he held in the state and the federation without any issue of maladministration, would help him actualize his aspiration to the National Assembly.

He finally pointed that politics, being a game, should be played with the spirit of sportsmanship at  both  elections and acceptance of aspirants and candidates that show laudable service antecedents.
