According to her, most of the schools visited recorded over ninety percent student’s attendance while all teachers were present except three who took permission.

The schools visited by Ulasi are Comprehensive Secondary School, Nawfia, Kenneth Dike Memorial Grammar School, Awka, Ado Girls Secondary School, Onitsha and Washington Memorial Grammar School Onitsha.

She was accompanied by Secretary of the Commission, Mrs. Josephine Onuorah among other top shots of the commission.

Both tutorial and non-tutorial staffs as well as students were on ground to receive their unscheduled visitors at the schools the monitoring team stopped, with all beaming with expectations for the new term.

She however warned that the monitoring has not ended, because any school may be visited in due course without prior notice.
