Christians charged to love one another

GOD is love and they that worship him must imbibe this great virtue which is the greatest commandment. Mankind was commanded to love one another as that is the only way they can prove their love for God.

The founder and General Overseer, Dominion City, Church, Rev David Ogbueli,  who gave the charge in Awka at a four day power-packed programme, tagged, Lift, Taking Your Life To The Next Level’, said that the two greatest commandment is to love the lord your God with all your heart and to love your neighbor as  you love God.

Rev Ogbueli pointed out that the Biblical ideology of love is to love God so it can be possible for you to love your neighbor, stressing that Christians must discover how much God loves them as to love Him back. “When you know how much God has forgiven you, you will not have time to hate others.  God’s love for mankind is real”, he maintained.

Similarly, Pastor Ugochukwu Emechebe  has urged Christians to submit themselves and take up the attitude of a sheep and enjoy the benefits of being led by a caring shepherd such as having victory over lack, divine protection among other benefits.

Pastor Emechebe gave the charge on Sunday at Dominion City, Church, Awka during a thanksgiving service to mark the end of a four day programme, tagged, ‘LIFT’. Emechebe who is the Senior Pastor of Dominion City, Awka and also the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Obiano on Youth Mobilisation, said that the first key to supernatural abundance is following the shepherd, taking His word with utmost importance without attaching sentiments when being led by the Holy Spirit.

He urged believers in Christ to imbibe the attitude of a sheep who always looks foolish and dependent on the shepherd. Taking his sermon from the book of Psalm chapter 23 verses one to six, noted that obedience to the word of God and sensitive to the directives of the Holy Spirit is the key that transforms a believer from the level where he or she used to be to where God wants the believer to attain in life.

The SSA further encouraged Christians to change the scope of their world by seeing themselves in God’s own perspective and not being controlled by feelings and sight, saying that in Christ, believers have been conditioned for greatness,  divine protection, abundance among other benefits.

The event which attracted believers in and around Awka, featured ordination of pastors, expository messages among others.
