NIGERIAN leaders and those in the Corridors of power and authority have been told to imbibe the fear of God in all their dealings with fellow man and not ascribe their successes to their personal efforts.

Arch Bishop of Flood Plain of Jordan Church Inc, Moses C. Ezeh gave the admonition at a convocation ceremony held by New Dimension Seminary Int’l and New Day Ministries, Minnesota, USA in conjunction with the church in Awka at the weekend.

He said, success in life endeavor comes from God and not by man’s sole efforts, adding that man’s sole efforts without God’s intervention will always collapse midway.

The Archbishop enjoined all to live Christlike lives, regretting that the attitude and behavior of most Christians and those in positions of authority do not depict Christ like behaviours.

He said, “our good legacies are the things we would be remembered for, therefore we must strive to be true representatives of God our creator and not ourselves”.

“Nigeria is abundantly blessed with human, material and natural resources by God, but we have refused to appreciate God’s  gift to us by turning against him and assuming powers we do not have, hence the many troubles and turbulence we are experiencing today as a nation.

The bishop said, time is now for all Nigerians to turn towards God for divine intervention in this time of turbulence and tribulations, adding that unless we seek God’s face for intervention we may be heading towards doomsday.

The event which held at Tracy’s Hotel, Awka witnessed the award of Doctorates in Divinity on His Worship, Rev. George Chukwunenye Nwabasili, the Administrative Magistrate incharge of Otuocha Magisterial  Division, Sir Chinedu Daniel Onwudinjo, Sir Chekwubechukwu Ijeomah (KSc),  Rev.
