CHIEF Ikechukwu Joeseph Ukaegbu is set to take over governorship in Imo State under the platform of Labour Party.
Chief Ukaegbu, who is a security consultant, as well as a political scientist said he was in the race to restore the middle class, as well as institute a health climate for investors as conveyor of a progressive economy.

Speaking to National Light in an exclusive interview behalf of the governorship candidate, the deputy governorship candidate, Sir Bright Chukwuka Nwelue, noted that their manifesto was anchored on agriculture, infrastructure and re- Orientation (AIR).

According to him, the whole essence in the intervention in the power struggle is to return power to the people thereby giving a human face to the business of governance”.

He pointed out that with agriculture, infrastructure and re orientation the state would be a haven of sort which provide employment and development to the people of the state.

The Labour candidate also disclosed that they will restore regularities in the payment of workers salaries, as well as settlement of pension and every entitlement due to public and civil servants in the state.

“ I am in the race with clear vision and grace from God to lead Imo State into prosperity and freedom and I am a core Catholic and true Christian versed with commerce”, he noted.
