EPL Cup: Chelsea to host Spurs in second leg

CHELSEA will host Tottenham in the second leg of their Carabao meeting. The match will take place today at Stamford Bridge, after suffering from an humiliating match on Saturday against their fellow Londoners, Arsenal they will try to redeem their flaws.

Chelsea suffered defeat against Tottenham in the first leg encounter when Harry Kane scored a controversial goal.

Currently, Tottenham are in crises as Harry Kane and Dele Ali are in injury situation and both of them will recover in March, Lucas Moura also out of action. Meanwhile Higuain who just landed a loan deal with the Blues will be out of action as Chelsea failed to meet the deadline to include Higuain in their squad. Alvaro Morata is rumoured to have verbally agreed to go on loan to Athletico Madrid, but the deal is not yet completed and is currently on injury, leaving Giroud as the only option for the role of the striker.

Chelsea have met Tottenham twice this season and have lost all in all competition, both at White Hart Lane.
