Winners’ Pastor Onwuka weds Anglican bishop, Ibezim’s niece

IT WAS a session of joy for the family of  Nze and Lolo Patrick Onwuka of Egwe, Oguta LGA, Imo State and Chief and Lolo Johnson Ibezim  of Mbaukwu in Awka South LGA, Anambra State as their children exchanged conjugal vows . 

The marriage was between the Assistant Pastor of Winners  Chapel, Oba, Pastor Chinedu Onwuka, who  hails from Oguta LGA,  Imo State and Mrs Chioma Goodness Onwuka, who was formerly known as Chioma Goodness Ibezim   from Mbaukwu in Awka south Local Government Area.

The conjugal bliss took place in Living Faith Church, Oba, in Idemili North  Local Government Area of Anambra State.  Pastor Samuel Akunrili ,  who ministered on the wedding day  gave his own insights as to what makes a marriage successful which are  giving , communication, faithfulness and appreciation amongst the couple

Immediately after the church service, the couple celebrated the wedding reception and traditional marriage in Chief& Lolo Johnson Ibezim’s  compound, where further prayers, advises and counseling were administered to the newly wedded couple.

Father to the groom, Nze Patrick Onwuka, in an interview said, “I give God all the glory that my last child is getting married.  God has been fair to me, making sure that I and my wife witnesses all our children both male and female’s marriages. I bless them and wish them well. They shall have children for themselves and grand children for me too”

One of the guests at the ceremony, Henry Ifediora said that marriage was not just between the husband the wife, but the willingness to accept each other’s family.

Highlights of the events  include prayers for the couple, dancing, photo shots with the couple’s families and friends.
