In Group B, Akwa United beat leaders FC IfeanyiUbah 1-0 in Uyo to extend their unbeaten streak to five games.

Mfon Udoh scored the decisive goal five minutes from the break. It was the former Enyimba striker sixth goal of the campaign.

El Kanemi Warriors continued their impressive run with a 2-0 home win against Heartland.

Ba’a kaka Kolo and Innocent Gabriel were both on target for the Maiduguri club in the game.

Crowd favourites, Mohammed Gambo and Rabiu Ali got the goals fur the Sai Masu Gida.

Former champions, Plateau United suffered a shocking 1-0 home loss to Kada City in Jos with Sadiq Suleiman netting the winning goal nine minutes from time.

Go Round also secured a 1-0 away win against Gombe United at the Pantami Stadium.

Henry Ochuba seventh minute strike separated both sides in the game.

Nasarawa United defeated Yobe Desert Stars 1-0 in Lafia with Isah Ndda scoring the winner in the 43rd minute.

Yobe Desert Stars are now without a win in their last five league games..
