It would be a dream to play for Zidane at R’Madrid – Pogba

REAL have recently appointed Pogba’s compatriot, Zinedine Zidane as manager for the second time and though he stressed he was enjoying life as a Manchester United player, he did not exactly quash talk of him becoming a Galactico at some point in the future.

“Like I’ve always said, Real Madrid is a dream for anyone,” Pogba is quoted as saying by The Mirror.

“It’s one of the biggest clubs in the world. There is also (Zinedine) Zidane as a coach and it’s a dream for anybody who likes football. For now, I’m at Manchester. We don’t know what the future holds. I’m at Manchester and I’m happy.”

It’s not exactly what United fans want to hear from their talisman, is it?

However, the former Juventus midfielder did urge the club to give Ole Gunnar Solskjaer the Old Trafford job on a permanent basis.

The Red Devils legend has won 14 out of his 19 games so far since replacing Jose Mourinho, guiding United to within three points of third-placed Spurs and into the Champions League quarter finals.

He has also got the best out of Pogba, who has nine goals and seven assists playing under the Norwegian

“Of course we want him to stay,” Pogba said, as per the BBC.

“The results have been great. I have a great relationship with him; he has a great relationship with the players.

“When a player is happy, he wants to keep being happy. Solskjaer deserves it. He knows the club, he knows everything about the club.

“He is a really happy coach that gave confidence back to the players. This gave us the freedom to play and enjoy football again because maybe we lost that with the results we had before.”
