Obimma lauds constituent for voting him, promises quality representation

LEGISLATOR-elect for Oyi constituency in the State House of Assembly, Mr. Charles Obinma has promised to offer quality representation to his constituents within the scope of the mandate given to him during the concluded state house of assembly election.

Mr. Obinma who is a member of the All Progressives Grand Alliance made the promise during his thank you visit to the Umunya ward, said his representation will focus on youth empowerment and creation of employment opportunities for them.

He promised to make efforts to ensure the rehabilitation of Ilo-oba-IfiteDunu Road and further used the occasion to commend Governor Willie Obiano for using the choose-yourself-project initiatives to enhance development in all the communities in the state.

In a speech, the convener of the thank you visit and the state treasurer of the party, Anthony Nwakile appreciated his ward for their support to the party during the state House of Assembly elections and urged the legislator-elect  to adopt a paradigm shift in the legislative business by ensuring the proper engagement of youths into productive ventures to curb their restiveness as well as to offer quality representation.

The APGA Treasurer appreciated Governor Willie Obiano’s purposeful administration which has occasioned the completion of the Umunya –Nteje Bridge.

In their separate remarks, the councilor representing Umunya ward one, Ifeanyi Chigbo, chairman of the ward, Mr. Chike Oraeki called for the rehabilitation of the Ilo-oba– ifitedunu Road and the involvement of ward chairman in the APGA party in appointments and commended efforts of the electorate in the ward for giving the second highest votes to the APGA party in the 2019 state House of Assembly elections while the immediate past chairperson of the women in Umunya ward one, Ezinne Ozobialu promised the women’s sustained support for the party in future elections.
