Group holds thanksgiving to honour APGA’s elected members Saturday



A Prayer group under the auspices of Anambra Prays Foundation International (a Non-denominational organization based on interceding for Anambra State, Nigeria and the World) has congratulated the governor of Anambra State, Chief  Willie Obiano and All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) House of Assembly members-elect for their victory at the just concluded March 9th, 2019, States House of Assembly elections.

The group has also scheduled a thanksgiving service on Saturday, April 6, 2019, in honour of the elected members.

In their congratulatory message and thanksgiving invitation letter,addressed to the state’s Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, C.  Don Adinuba, dated March 18, 2019, the group disclosed that the thanksgiving service will be held at the Anambra Prays Centre, Messianic Faith Assembly Hall, Akwu-anozie, Uruagu Nnewi at 12 Noon.

The letter which was signed by the National President, Anambra Prays International, Bishop Ignatius Orizu (JP) and the National Secretary, Evangelist Mathew Ezinwo, said that there would be special prayers for Governor Obiano’s administration, Progress of APGA in Anambra State, Nigeria and for the newly-elected State House of Assembly members for the great task ahead of them.

“This is to fulfill vows to Elohim during our prayers held in some of the local government councils in the three senatorial zones of the state. The Prayers were organized primarily to enable APGA aspirants to emerge victorious, as well as to enhance the smooth conduct of the election, “it  stated.

The group thanked God for giving Anambra State a visionary leader in the person of Governor Willie Obiano. They commended his leadership styles since assumption of office. In their words, “he has transformed Anambra State to what other states wish to become: Armed robbery, kidnapping and other civil disturbances have become once upon a time issue and the implementation of his four pillars of development is in full gear
