Law student sent out of exam hall over wrong haircut dies in accident

A 400 level Law student of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU), has died in an accident after his faculty sent him home to get a haircut and produce his ID card before being allowed to sit for an exam with his course mates.

It was gathered that the student, Ezeh Goodluck, popularly known as Kasa, came to school  to sit for an exam with his course mates on Monday, but wasn’t allowed into the exam hall because his hair didn’t meet faculty standard. He was also reportedly asked to produce his ID card before being allowed to sit for the exams.

Our source revealed that in his haste to get home in time to produce his ID card and get a haircut, he mounted an auto bike which unfortunately had an accident following a burst of one of it’s tire.

The bike rider was said to have died on the spot while Goodluck was flung into a ditch but was still alive but unconscious when he was rushed to Chukwuemka Odumegwu Ojukwu Teaching Hospital, in Awka, but he died on the way to a hospital in Nnewi after

a doctor told his  friends  at about 6 pm, that that he needed to be transferred to a hospital in Nnewi.

As at the time of filing this report,The public relations officer of the school and the state’s Police Public Relations Officer could not be reached for comments.
