Brazil vs Bolivia match preview

BRAZIL warmed up for the Copa America with an emphatic 7-0 victory over Honduras in their final friendly match. Gabriel Jesus netted a brace while Philippe Coutinho, Roberto Firmino and Richarlison were also on target.

La Selecao are hosts of this year’s Copa and are considered favourites to lift the title for the first time since 2007. Tite’s team will be looking to make a positive start to the tournament after nine wins from their last 10 matches.

The Bolivians did not have the best build up to the Copa America as they are currently on a three-match losing streak. Eduardo Villegas’ men are not fancied to win on Saturday with odds on a Bolivia win paying 23.00.

Bolivia have also struggled for goals lately having failed to score in their last three matches. Marcelo Martins is the man often tasked with leading the line but the striker has failed to score in his last four matches for the national team.

Brazil have numerous attacking options in their team, all of whom can trouble the Bolivian backline. Gabriel Jesus will be one to watch having scored five goals in his last three international matches and I am backing the Manchester City striker in the goalscorer markets.

Bolivia have had problems in attack with no goals in their last three matches. With Martins currently on a four-match goal drought, the Bolivians are not expected get any joy from the Brazilians.

Prediction: Brazil to win
