Ochi Division of PCRC fetes Patrons

THE Police community Relation Committee (PCRC), Ochi Division Amechi Nnewi in Nnewi South Local Government Area of Anambra State, over the weekend awarded some of their patrons and also launched 150 million naira PCRC proposed Secretariat Projects.

The launching and award giving ceremony which took place at Amichi town Hall was graced by different members of Police community relations committee in Anambra State and beyond.

In a remark the Public Relations officer and chairman Ochi Division Mr Jude Alozie said that PCRC is a non governmental organization, that assist police in combating crime in every community stressing that they are the eye of Nigeria Police Force which help in providing concrete information, checkmating social vices as well as providing peace and unity in every community.

The Public Relation Officer attributed that the organization has established a good relationship between the  Police, Vigilantee, and host communities under Ochi, which comprise of Azuigbo, Amechi, Osumenyi, Unubi, Utuh, Akwaihidi and Ekwulummili, stated that the proposed multi million naira project will help the police stay more closer to the communities when completed.

He equally charged the awardees to always make sure they work up to expectation they were chosen for.

Engr Okey Amobi the secretary PCRC Ogidi Division while interacting with newsmen said that it is good and welcomed development for Ochi division to initiate such a unique project that would sanitize the community.

Amobi urged the members of Ochi Division to always make sure they assist in making sure we have a crime free society.

Prince Ikechukwu Udo the chairman PCRC Ogidi division while delivering his speech urged members of the public to always help police community relation committee and the police with some basic amenities they require to regulate crime.
