Emenaka empowers three graduates

THREE best university graduates with first class degrees from Anambra East Local Government Area of Anambra state have received financial awards   from Obinna Emenaka as a moral booster for their academic excellence.

Emenaka presented the cheques for a total sum of ira #600,000 to the lucky beneficiaries in his office at the House of Assembly, Awka, and said it was in redemption of a standing promise to reward any graduate from the constituency who passes out from the Ivory Tower in flying colours.

The law maker commended them for the enviable feat, adding that they would remain role models to other students in the area while the gesture will be sustained to encourage students in the area to greater attainment in their various fields.

He then presented a cheque of N200,000 to the three beneficiaries, urging them to utilize the funds judiciously.

The awardees are  Julius Chukwuemeka, best graduand of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) 2014, Miss Rita Abisi, and Julius Ndive, who graduated in 2014 from the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU), with first class.

A former member of the assembly.  Ossy Chunwuba and President General of Enugwu-Otu Aguleri, Benjamin Onyenwife, were present during the brief ceremony and lauded the recipients for making the LGA proud.

Responding on behalf of the recipients,  Chukwuemeka thanked  Emenaka for the humanitarian gesture, promising that they would make best use of the money.
