Obimma re-assures Oyi constituency

THE member, representing Oyi Constituency in the 7th Anambra State House of Assembly,  Charles Obimma has reiterated his determination to render selfless service to the people in ensuring equitable distribution of dividends of democracy to all nooks and crannies of the area.

Obimma made this vow while speaking to pressmen at the legislative building in Awka, and expressed optimism that the state would witness very vibrant law making under the incumbent legislative arm of the state government.

He commended Governor Willie Obiano and National Chairman of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), Chief Victor Oye for the impressive victory of the party’s candidates during the 2019 general elections and applauded the enviable achievements of the Obiano administration in moving the state forward.

The law maker further stressed that regular consultation through town hall meetings of the electorate in enacting people oriented laws to boost rapid development of the state.  Obinna also urged his constituents to continue to support the governor by being law abiding and fulfilling their civic responsibilities with prompt payment of taxes, as the government needed adequate internally generated revenue (IGR) for the execution of its lofty programmes and infrastructural projects.

According the legislator, ndi Anambra had benefitted tremendously under the stewardship of APGA due to the party’s blueprints covering all sectors of the state economy.

He emphasised that one of Gov. Obiano’s innovative policy thrusts that positively impacted the masses was the “community Choose Your Project” which engendered an egalitarian grassroots development across the 179 towns throughout the 21 LGAs in the state, worthy of emulation by other state government.
