DELEGATION of Methodist Church, Diocese of Onitsha, recently paid a courtesy visit to the Anambra State Government, in respect of the proposed Episcopal visit of the prelate  to Anambra in August.

Bishop Onuagha, who emphasised the importance of education in the country, by noting respectable people like Nnamdi Azikiwe who passed through Methodist High School Lagos, Dr. Michael Okpara among others, who have made the east and Nigeria what it is today, also commended Governor Obiano for upholding good governance in the state.

“I am very happy I live in Anambra at this point in time, because the government is focused and everything here is working to the glory of God…”.

Bishop Onuagha also complained about a land which was purchased by the church with all its legal documents, but they were refused entrance into the land by indigenes and  pleaded with the governor and attorney general to use their good offices to restore the land back to the church, to enable them establish mission school and hospital.
