Nkpor Market seeks security boost

THE general secretary of Nkpor Market Association, Chukwudi Elobisi has called the Government of Anambra State to provide security equipment to the policemen in the market and create a fire service station at Nkpor.

Speaking on behalf of the national chairman of the association, Chief Elobisi warned the youth to desist from cultic activities in the market or Nkpor environ. He also called on Nkpor citizens to control and check cult and criminal activities, adding that his administration would not spare anybody when caught in any criminality in general.

The general secretary thanked Governor Obiano for giving his association befitting assistant by releasing huge amount of money being used for administrative measures in the market such as rebuilding the secretariat of the association and equipping it with modern electrical equipment and furniture, including employments of the workers.

He further disclosed that the association has equally embarked on allocation of sheds to members of the association.

He thanked the governor for his numerous achievements such as, payment of worker’s salary, security network, reconstruction of roads and providing street lights in Anambra in general.
