In Awka, Nwachukwu family rejoice with Ugo, Chioma

FAMILY of Nwachukwu Ugochukwu celebrated thanksgiving in Saint Michael’s Church, Ifite, Awka.

Mr Ugochukwu stated that the reason for the thanksgiving was to thank God for a successful traditional marriage  which took place last month  and church wedding. Mr Ugochukwu got married to the love of his life, Mrs Nwachukwu, Chioma Precious, formerly known as Edwin Chioma Precious.

Mrs Chioma Nwachukwu seized the opportunity to also thank God for making it possible for her to get married to her husband, who she described as a loving and God fearing husband. Having lost her father at a tender age, she was also grateful to God for sparing her mother to be  alive to  witness the wedding of her last child and only daughter.

Mr Obi Nwachukwu,  father to the groom  was very happy and  said, “today is one of the happiest days in my life. Ugochukwu is my first and only son and I m happy he got married. I thank God for giving me and my wife with life for this is one of the moments every parent wishes to witness before they die.”

The mother of the bride, Mrs Nwanneka Okafor, prayed for the couple, saying that God will bless them with children of both genders and finance to take care of them.

Mother to the groom, Mrs Angela Nwachukwu could not hold her tears while praying  for the couple.

In the church, Ugochukwu and his wife were surrounded  by his in laws, family members and friends.

Reverend Ekene Nwafor, the priest, prayed for the couple and added that  they should love each other just as Christ loves the church.
