THE vicar in -charge of Saint Andrew’s Anglican Church  Umudiji Umuohoma  and founder of Jesus Healing School, in Ukpor, Nnewi South Local Government Area of Anambra  State,  Rev Canon Livi Emma Chiadikaobi recently celebrated his birthday with the widows in the state.

Taking his sermon from 2 kings, chapter 4 verse1- 7,,concerning a widow whose husband could not pay his debt before his death, Chiadikaobi admonished them to trust in the lord and have faith in him on  difficulties surrounding them in life.

He added that with the little in their hands, God will multiply it as He did to the  widow  Elijah told to borrow vessels and her containers was filled with oil, which  she sold and settled debts owed by the late husband.

Chiadikaodi noted that widows are most stigmatised in the society, that a lot are being accused of killing their husbands , deprived  of their husbands properties. He charged them to focus their trust in God, stop crying and asking God Questions, rather serve and obey the lord in humanity and  righteousness , that in doing so, they will see the goodness of the lord upon their lives as the husband of the widow.

Also speaking, member, representing Nnewi  North Consitiutency, Anambra  State House of Assembly, Nonso Okafor, encouraged the widows not to give up, citing his mother as an example of a  widow that fried akara during the her time ,saying that today, the case is different. He prayed that  God will take Rev. Canon Chiadikaobi to higher level as he has been touching lives both spiritualyl, physically and maritally.

One of the workers in the ministry, Jesus Healing School, Evangelist Chris Osuji, thanked God for His grace upon the man of God for remembering the widows in the state  and his caring hands .Widows were given different packages , including   bags of rice, beans, wrappers, cartons of noddles, tin tomatoes, beverages and toiletries.
