Goddosky FC upgraded to Division One

GOODOSKY football club of Ezenifite, Nnewi South LGA Of Anambra State has been upgraded  to division one football club in Nigeria.

 

The promotion is based on its recent brilliant performances having drawn one on one against under twenty Nigerian National team at a match played at Abuja National stadium last August.

 

Technical adviser for Goddosky football club, Okwuchukwu Obiora of the Ex Rangers football club has plans to play more away matches and home matches. According to him, the club has sent one of its player to Germany last week on the invitation of a German football club.

He disclosed that the team also drew one on one with FC Ifeanyi Ubah of Nnewi and won one goal to nothing against Kiahi football club of Owerri last Sunday.Mr. Obiorah announced that Goddosky Football club has more plans to send players abroad.

 

He commended founder of the club, Chief Godwin Agbasimalo a  philanthropist in his early forties has established a football camp for the players who are placed on salaries and fed twice daily has other incentives including buses, for the players. Chief Agbasimelo  is based partly in Nigeria and Brazil.

 

It will be recalled that the club’s technical adviser, Mr Okwuchukwu Obiora was a highest goal scorer for six years in Nigeria between 1980-1985

He was also the first set of Nigerian Green Eagles captained by Segun  Odegbami .
