Police parade suspeced killer of Ezeji

THE Imo state Police Command has paraded three suspects in connection with the gruesome murder of Hon. Christopher Anorou in Egwe, Oguta local government area of Imo State in March, 2019.

Parading the three man gang, the Police Public Relation Officer (PPRO), Imo State Command, Orlando Ikokwu said that the arrest was as a result of indept investigation coupled with hard work that the success was achieved.

According to S.P. Ikokwu, the Police in the state received the report of the robbery and murder of late Mr. Anoruo in Egwe town of Oguta local government area, Imo state on the 11th of March, 2019. Same trigger happy men numbering three entered the house of the deceased robbed all his valuables including phones, laptop abducted and kill him. The robbers, it was said  took him out more than two poles away from his house and carried out the said assassination.

Upon the report to the Police, Imo state Police Commissioner Rabiu Ladodo ordered immediate investigation into the matter. Through the investigation, the handset of the deceased was recovered from one Hassan Kabiru who confessed that he got the phone from one Chimezie who when arrested also said that he got it from one Solomon Onyemaechi.

The arrest of these men enhanced the continuation of investigation into the issue, according to the Police, the suspects will be charged to court for robbery and murder, the moment investigation is completed.
