Spare Parts dealers ban use of generators in Nnewi market

AGBOEDO New Motor Spare Parts Association (NMSPA) has banned usage of generators at all locations of their base.

  The Chairman NMSPA, Bro. Dennis Ikegwuonwu told our correspondent after their weekly prayer session at the site that the ban became necessary in view of the carbon monoxide the smoke distribute to their over 3,000 members.

  He has said that the association has procured giant generators of 300 KVA capacities that were commissioned recently by the former Commissioner for Market, Commerce, Trade and Wealth Creation, Dr. Christian Madubuko as their contribution to aid EEDC electricity services they restored after two months in office.

  He commended the security measures Governor  Willie Obiano availed the people of the state in addition to Operation Nkpochapu ii he launched last week, noting that such patriotic governance of Governor Willie Obiano has placed Anambra State as number one state in security among  the 36 states of the country.

  He passionately appealed for installation of bore hole in Agboedo New Motor Spare Parts  in order to enable them and those that patronise them have access to water bore services for all their needs.

  He emphasised on the importance of prompt payment of taxes and other revenue due to state government by eligible citizens and inhabitants of the state, pointing out that such has remained one of the major areas through which the government attracts fund for the masses’ need as was done by the colonial masters.

 Bro. Ikegwuonwu said that he would use his experience of over 35 years as a new motor spare parts dealer, with members of his executive to give best services and leadership to their teeming members and foster unity among themselves.

  Other members of the executive include Mr. Patrick Nwoke-Secretary, Mr Josephat  Odenigbo- Vice Chairman, Mr Ejike Ndubuisi-Assistant Secretary, Mr Edmund Orjichukwu – Treasurer and Ejidike Oramalu- PRO, among others.
