“Security is still very much intact and we expect a massive return of our people this yuletide period to come and enjoy themselves under a free and safe atmosphere,” Obiano stressed.

The governor re-assured people of Ogbunike of more dividends of democracy, while enjoining them to be law-abiding and support their traditional ruler and his cabinet.

Commissioner for works, Mr Marcel Ifejiofor, said the road would run from Oye-Olisa through Kisa River to the expressway.

Director, TAMAD Construction Company, Mr Tony Madi, re-assured the Anambra Government that the road would be completed by December.
