Imo Deputy Gov. suffers opposition in his Oguta home

EVEN though, Gerald Irona, the deputy governor of Imo State comes from Oguta town, in Oguta Local Government Area of Imo State, opposition formed by his kit and kin appeared in high resonance as APC leaders in the area vowed to continue their allegiance and solidarity to the governorship candidate of All Progressive Congress Party (APC), Sen. Hope Uzodinma in the last general election.

Uzodinma, it could be recalled is currently challenging the victory of Gov. Ihedioha at the appeal court.

Among the leaders of APC that met at the Owerri residence of their apex leader, Dr. Gideon Nweze include; former legislators and business moguls, Eugene Dibiagwu, Ofili Ijeoma, Canice Ozor,  Dozie Dibiagwu, Ijeoma Ekeanyanwu, Alphonsius Ozor, Stella Maris, Joe Nnadi and Emma Ifuma, among others.

In their resolution, the politicians agreed to continue with their unreserved support and unshakable solidarity to Uzodinma, their guber candidate whom they are hopeful will claim victory at the appeal court very soon, the group also declared support to their party State Leader, Chief Marcel Nlemigbo.

Regrettably, according to the gladiators, the kangaroo judgment delivered by the court of first instance tagged election tribunal in   the state cannot stop the Imo APC from holding on governance of Imo State, as the people wished and manifested it via their voting, no matter who is at the helm for now, describing it as temporal.

The group enjoined Imo electorates to remain supportive of APC and calm while awaiting the appeal court verdict.
