the field of these icons are musicians like Chief Ebenezer Obey, Sir Shina

South Local Government Area of Anambra State born Chief Goddy Ezike, (aka
Kharki-No bi leather) whose music is philosophical, which he renders through
highlife renditions, he is down but not out.
In his hay days, Goddy Ezike was a household name in the
music industry, especially in the South East where he keeps his fans on their
dancing toes on any occasion he was invited to play. Onitsha residents and
environs will not forget him in time as he entertained them every weekend in a
hotels located along Old Market Road, Onitsha, and at times in another hotel
located at Fegge Onitsha, in Anambra State.
Though Goddy Ezike
has not won any acclaimed national award like PMAN or its like, he would not be
pushed aside when it comes to philosophical highlife music. According to
sources, the highlife crooner is currently practicing his trade in his Amichi
home town.
High Chief Chika
Ezenwa, is a highlife musician of repute who hails from Egbema Ozubulu in
Ekwusigo local government area of Anambra State. He is an embodiment of talents
but has not gotten the opportunity to be on the lime light. However, he has his fans mostly from some
parts of the South East, especially Anambra State.
At a time, he was a regular at a hotel in Nnewi town but
lately, he is trying his hand in a new album and appears on occasions if
invited to entertain people. He currently leaves at his hometown – Ozubulu in
Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State.
