Yuletide: Market leader urges caution

Motorists, especially commercial vehicle drivers have been called upon to drive with caution as we enter deeper into the Ember months.

  This call was made by the Chairman, New Auto Spare Parts Association (NASPA), Nnewi, Obinna Okechukwu, from their secretariat.

  Okechukwu reminded all motorists, especially drivers that Christmas and New Year celebrations come every year and should not be a do or die affair. He remarked that it should not be a period of careless overtaking, over speeding and over loading, pointing out that the yuletide is meant for the living and not the dead.

  He used the opportunity to commend the visible security concern Governor Willie Obiano has continued to afford the people of Anambra State, especially the recent Operation Kpochapu by providing high class security and patrol vehicles to the law enforcement sector.

This gesture, Okechukwu went on, will attract huge home coming of Anambra sons, daughters and visitors into the state for Christmas and New Year celebrations.He assured that  NASPA members are out to protect both themselves and their numerous customers.

  He thanked their members for the solid support they gave to him and his executive.

  The chairman, Disciplinary Committee of NASPA, Osisiskankwu, promised that they will keep the good name of the new auto sector waxing. He commended the NASPA chairman, Obinna Okechukwu ,who has reformed 22 zones of NASPA by donating a trophy to unite them more through soccer competitions.
