Anambra wins award at Lagos International Trade Fair

IT WAS another glorious day for Anambra State at the just concluded 2019 edition of Lagos International Trade Fair as the state won an award as one of the Best Participating states at the fair.

  Announcing the award during the closing events of the trade Fair, President of Lagos State Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture, Babatunde Paul Ruwase praised Governor Willie Obiano for supporting the state’s participation in almost every election of the fair.

  According to Mr. Ruwase, Anambra State is endowed with vibrant economy and rich cultural heritage that need to be showcased for the world to see, stressing that there is no better place to do that than the Lagos International Trade Fair.

  During the Fair which spanned through November 1st – 10th at the Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos the Anambra State pavilion was a beehive of activities with Ndi Anambra, their friends, well-wishers, investors an customers from all over the country and beyond visited the pavilion in their great numbers. 

  The fair with the theme, “Connecting Business, Creating Values”, offered unique opportunities for exhibitors and participants to advertise their products, services, inventions and innovations to both Nigerian and foreign investors who are ready to interact with counterparts all over the world.

  The theme of the fair is considered very important to Ndi Anambra since it is in line with the state government’s priority for the enterprises of Anambra business men and women seeking wider access to domestic as well as international markets and also investors seeking joint ventures partners because of the lasting enabling friendly and secured environment in Anambra State.

  There was no dull moment at the Anambra stand especially during her special day on November 8. All roads led to the state’s pavilion where many outstanding products especially the popular Anambra Rice with its right nutritional value were very much on display.
