speech, the chairman of the council, Dr Peter Egenti said, the board had done a
successful exercise, that some cases of ghost workers were discovered.”We
will be happy to report to His Excellency, Chief Willie Obiano, he has
emphasised that the minimum wage will be difficult with the ghost workers.
There are a lot of waste pipes in the system.”
Speaking to National

persons, those having double appointment, somebody not putting enough in the
system and others. He added that the extreme cases are those who are dead and those
who do not come to work.
He advised all the
workers of LGSC to give their best and come to work, and be part of the
campaign for change, to change the local government for better , noting that
the key staff of the local government, and the local monitoring teams should be
there to direct the staff to help the council
move forward.
