Dortmund ‘will not sell Sancho in January’

BORUSSIA Dortmund are adamant that Jadon Sancho will not leave this month. The teenager is attracting interest from a host of top clubs across Europe. The England international has two-and-a-half years remaining on his contract .

The 19-year-old has two-and-a-half years remaining on his deal in Germany but is attracting attention from a host of European clubs.

A return to England appears likely for the former Manchester City youngster, but reports in Germany suggest that there will be no movement in January.

Dortmund feel they would be unable to find a suitable replacement in this window and so are unwilling to sanction despite heavy interest, claim Sky in Germany.

A summer move remains a real possibility, with Chelsea and Manchester United leading the chase for the England international.

Interest is high on the continent too, with PSG, Real Madrid and Barcelona all tracking the winger. Sancho left City for Dortmund in 2017 and has increasingly grown in stature since. He made his senior Three Lions debut last year and is now a regular member of Gareth Southgate’s side. In 79 appearances for Dortmund’s senior side he has scored 26 goals.
