Nnewi community calls for arrest of Emeka Offor Junction erosion site

THE people of Akaboezem Uruagu Nnewi have made passionate appeal to Governor Willie Obiano for immediate handling of St. Mary’s Cathedral, Akaboezem/Emeka Offor Junction now the rains have gone.

  Speaking from his country home in Akaboezem, an elder statesman and philanthropist, Chief  Eugene Ojukwu  lamented that flood erosion has ravaged all the entry roads in that community especially the one that links Akaboezem to Ireti-Oraifite kwown as Emeka Offor Junction. Chief Dr. Ojukwu who is the CEO, Ekeson Group further said that their children were not going to school during rains because of the torrential flood havoc.

He said that a seven star hotel complex built as one of the think home philosophy by Chief Dr. B.U.C Aghazu had remained in “wilderness” due to lack of motorable roads.

He commended the governor for his visible concern on security which has continued to attract ndi Anambrar home during festive feasts like Christmas, New Year and Easter.
