Madam Chukwurah goes home

THE remains of the late Mrs Bridget Chukwurah has been laid to rest in her compound at Ogboli-Olosi Village of Onitsha Ado in Onitsha North Local Government Area.

  Earlier in a sermon at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Inland Town, Onitsha, the priest, Rev. Father Blaize Ejike consoled the family of the deceased and noted that those who have died in Christ will be the first to rise and those who are still alive will be taken up in the clouds to meet the lord . He further advised Christians to stay with the lord forever, adding that with such thoughts, they should comfort one another for grace awaits the faithful in Christ.

  The MD/CEO of Anambra Newspaper and Printing Corporation, Publishers of National Light Newspaper, Ka Ọ Dị Taa and SportsLightXtra, Sir Chuka Nnabuife said that it was always sad for someone to lose his dear one irrespective of age. He further consoled the family on behalf of the entire staff of ANPC and prayed for the soul of the late Mrs Bridget Chukwurah to rest in peace.

  Okwuchukwu Chukwurah, son of the deceased, who is also a staff of ANPC thanked the MD/CEO of National Light, Sir Chuka Nnabuife and the entire staff for being present at funeral of his late mother, Mrs Bridget Chukwurah.

  He further said that humility was one of the legacies his late mother laid when she was alive and further described her as a compassionate, understanding, family oriented woman he had ever seen who tried to single handedly raise all her five children over 18 years ago after the death of their father, the late Mr. Isaac Chukwurah.
