Mrs Obi becomes Ezinne of St Luke, Uke

IT was a unique event on Sunday when family, friends and well wishers gathered to felicitate with Mrs Kathleen Obi as St Luke’s Anglican Church Uke confer on her  the prestigious award of  Ezinne

  The conferment which was  accompanied by a grand reception at her compound, Oba Uke, in Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State attracted dignitaries from far and near.

Mrs Kathleen in her remarks, thanked the parishioners of the church for founding her wordy of the award, appreciating God for his blessings and mercy upon her life.

  She noted that before an individual will be bestowed with the hournor of  Ezinne of the church, that she must possess possible characters worthy to be emulated.

  The awardee also promised to be more dedicated to the church, stressing that her priority on earth is to serve God till the end of her life

  The son of the awardee, Nwachinameru, while interacting with newsmen described her mother as a virtous woman who always dedicate time and energy to ensure that she converts and win souls for Jesus Christ

 He described the award as a well deserved one for her mother, stressing that she has impacted some positivities in the church and community

  Earlier in his speech, Rev Fr Emeka Gbuzu charged mothers to always live good Christian lives wordy of emulation.

  Fr Gbuzu maintained that  every Ezinne is  supposed to be a community builder working for the progress of the church and community, and must avoid vices that will tarnish her image and that of the church.
