No face masks, no access to offices – Anambra HOS

FOLLOWING relaxation of the COVID-19 lockdown, announced by Gov. Willie Obiano, public servants in Anambra State will only access the office if they wear their face masks.


“They are advised to provide their own face masks and wear it at all times.” This information is contained in a public service notice released by the Anambra State Head of Service (HOS), Harry Udu on April 28.


This, the notice said, would be in preparation for expected re-opening of offices and resumption of work.
It noted that wearing of face masks remain one of the preconditions to gain access into offices.


The notice also urged all civil servants to comply with the directive, so as to maintain safety while in the offices.
It, then, enjoined all workers and indeed intending visitors to strictly uphold all COVID-19 safety procedures installed by the state government.
