Trump promises to send Nigeria ventilators

UNITED States of America President, Donald Trump says his country will seek damages from China over COVID-19 outbreak.

  In a press statement yesterday on COVID-19 development, Trump disclosed that his administration was conducting serious investigations into Beijing’s handling of the coronavirus outbreak.

  According to UK Guardian reports, Trump believes China could have stopped coronavirus from becoming a global outbreak.  “It could have been stopped quickly and it wouldn’t have spread all over the world,” he said.

  The US President vowed that the United States would not let China go scot free if found culpable after full investigations on the pandemic has been concluded.

  The Economic Times also reported the US as saying that there are a lot of ways the US could hold China accountable.

  Meanwhile, World Health Organisation has said there is no evidence that the global pandemic called coronavirus was made in a lab, according to China’s foreign ministry.

  Refuting claims of COVID-19 origination from Chinese lab, Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson, Zhao Lijian, in response to a question about accusations of coronavirus emergence denied any such claims linking the virus to have originated from a lab in the central Chinese city of Wuhan, where the epidemic first emerged in late 2019.

  Not impressed with China’s involvement and handling of the COVID-19 issue, President Trump insists his government will do everything possible to determine whether the coronavirus emanated from a lab in Wuhan, China.
