Twin blasts in Syria kill 52



CASUALTY toll in a recent twin blasts that rocked a town in northern Syria yesterday rose to 52.

The town is located in a Turkish-backed rebel area in northern Syria.
Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that the fatalities included 11 children and 12 rebel fighters.

On Tuesday, a booby-trapped fuel tanker exploded in the northern Syrian town of Afrin, which is controlled by Turkish troops and allied rebel groups.
The explosion killed 46 people and injured at least 50 others.
