Obiano’s Wife Extends Humanitarian Aids To Persons Living With HIV/AIDS , Sickle Cell Anaemia, Others

The wife of Governor of Anambra State, and founder of Caring Family Enhancement Initiative (CAFE) Chief.Mrs. Ebelechukwu Obiano has extended humanitarian aids to persons living with HIV/AIDS , Sickle Cell Anaemia , visually impaired individuals and other vulnerable groups in Anambra state .

She said that her ultruistic disposition to such category of citizens was borne out of her empathy and emotional attachment to their needs, stressing that she provided the palliatives to cushion the impact of the lockdown on the beneficiaries due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

The humanitarian support which includes cartons of noodles, tomato, salt, cereals and undiclosed cash support for other essentials were handed out to the beneficiaries in Aguleri Anambra East Local Government Area at the weekend.

Addressing the beneficiaries before handing out the items, Mrs. Obiano said that the palliative support was intended to alleviate the pains of the restriction orders occasioned by the Covid19 public health crisis.

She however expressed confidence that the relief materials would be useful and beneficial to them and their immediate families during these trying periods.

The governor’s wife said that “I want you all to know that this Coronavirus is real, so you need to observe all the safety rules and stay safe. I also know that hunger is a threat to all, especially the physically challenged. This is why I am giving you this support and I hope that this would help cushion your hardship.”

One of the beneficiaries, Maduka Okeke, thanked Mrs. Obiano for her philanthropy and prayed that God will continue to bless her and her husband, the Governor of Anambra State.
