Ibeto group gives 1,000 bags of rice to Nnewi communities

THE 4 quarters that make up Nnewi town, namely, Otolo, Uruagu, Umudim and Nnewichi got 250 bags each from the 1,000 bags of 25kg rice Chief Dr. Cletus Ibeto made available.

  Chief Jude Osumuo who represented Ibeto Chambers of People Progressive Association P.P.A a non political organisation alongside the Special Assistant to Governor Obiano on Youths Affair,

Hon Alpho Aniebue and Hon Innocent Okoli (organiser) said from respective piece meal interview that Chief Dr. Cletus Ibeto (Omekannaya) has been patriotic and concerned to issues that border on human welfares and community development.

The P.P.A chairman said that their association which Chief Dr. Ibeto is their patron was inaugurated to add weight to deserving issues that concern the progress, peace of Nnewi town.

  P.G Otolo Nnewi Sir Boniface Obi used the forum to tell our correspondent of the need to get the “gospel” of corona virus pandemic to deep grass root with eventual kits and giggle message plus food items Dr. Ibeto has demonstrated.

  Hon Okoli – organiser said food will give sustainance to the precautionary measure.

  P.G Ebenato Otolo, Chief Tony Myodelo (Classics) who is the coordinator Afa Igbo Bu Ofu Nnewi North LGA said Igbos are realising their expected charitable role at their states hence all the 5 Igbo speaking states in the South East including those in Delta,

Rivers are their brother keepers which Omekannaya Ibeto showcased to his people at this time of the need. Hon Amb. Charles Nwonye P.G Uruagu spoke and talked on that charity Dr Ibeto exhibited and others.

  Earlier the P.P.A top members who overseased the 1,000 bags of rice distribution in country of the Nzukora Nnewi P.G, Sir Ugochukwu Udemezue (Ifeneti) who had earlier paid courtesy call to H.R.H Igwe Dr Kenneth Orizu II – Igwe Nnewi who expressed thankfulness to that magnanimous charity displayed by Chief Dr. Cletus Ibeto and ended it with sumptuous blessings through cola nut break.
