Mexican clubs wants Obi

FORMER Super Eagle captain, John Mikel Obi, 33, is currently without a club as he terminated his contract with Trabzonspor when the coronavirus pandemic broke out in Europe.

  The Turkish Super league where Mikel played for Trabzonspor was one of the few championships that refused to stop the league due to the pandemic, Mikel spoke against the continuation of the season and later reached an agreement to terminate his contract.

  The former Chelsea midfielder has been previously linked with Brazilian clubs, Botafago and Internacional.

  Mikel is however interested in trying his luck in the Mexican Liga MX and has had many suitors from the Mexican Liga MX.

  Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain, champions of League 1 for this season and they are already in for business in the transfer market with Super Eagles midfielder, Wifred Ndidi on their radar.
