A NIGERIAN actor identified as Femi Olaosebikan popularly called Lash has had bitter experience spending a whole night on Ikoyi road for violating 8pm curfew set by Lagos State government.

Disclosing this while sharing his experience in a video, Lash showed some drivers stranded on the road after breaking the 8pm and pleaded with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, to consider allowing citizens who stay out after 8 pm to get to their homes.

Taking to his social media page, he appealed Lagos State government for mercy, adding that he will not stay out late again, while they look into the plight of citizens who may not find it easy to get to their various homes from their bases before the 8pm mark.

National Light gathered that the easing of the lockdown in Lagos State came with new rules. While citizens have been allowed to go about their daily activities, it came with the instruction that everyone must return back to their homes on or before 8 pm at night daily.

According to reports, this was the situation that landed the actor in trouble as he was spotted with other motorists on the highway.

Ruing his plight, Lash posted videos of other car owners sitting on the roadsides with long queue of the cars trapped in the process.

“We’re all sleeping on the road tonight,” Femi said. Although Femi did not explain why no one is moving, he only told his followers to help him beg the state governor.

According to him, he won’t stay out late again. The entertainer said that he wants to go home.

Lagos State government said the gradual easing of restrictions on activities and movements should not be mistaken to mean life has returned to normal in the country.
