Alhamajiri can’t stay in Anambra – Iwuchukwu

A CALL has gone to the governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano and citizens of the state to resist vehemently any unlawful and infiltrating ploy by refuge seeking Alhamajiris to enter into Anambra State.

  Speaking from his villa in Otolo Nnewi, the special assistant to Igwe Keneth Orizu III on customary matters, Prince Emma Iwuchukwu, who is also a retired public servant and Customary Court Judge pointed that Anambra State’s culture and tradition have no near relevance with that of Alhamajiris and should not be made a dumping state by refuge seeking Alhamajiris.

  He expressed satisfaction at the level of security measures that were beefed at the borders with neighbouring states but called for a more lubricated surveillance to ensure full halt of intruders into Anambra State.

  He was happy that great percentage of Ndi Anambra and inhabitants keep to required preventive measures against COVID-19.

  He finally commended the state governor for relaxing the coronavirus pandemic order for churches to hold their sessions with required logistics. “Prayers from the churches will attract God’s intervention to COVID-19,” he concluded.
