Adaku Confidence Madu laid to rest amid tears



THE remains of the late Mrs Adaku Confidence Madu has been laid to rest in her husband’s compound at Inyi, Oji-River Local Government Area of Enugu State.

  The late Adaku Madu (Nee Maduagwuna) was a nurse and a native of Awba Ofemili in Awka North Local Government Area of Anambra State. She was married to Mr Gozie Madu and they both have six children before she died.

The husband of the deceased, Mr Gozie Madu who could not control his tears found it difficult to express his feelings but only asked God to let her soul rest in peace.

  Father of the deceased, Chief Victor Maduagwuna, who is a staff of Anambra Newspaper and Printing Corporation, prayed that God will accept his daughter’s soul and give her eternal rest in His bosom, adding that God will bless and protect her family.

  In his words, “God we thank you for the life Adaku lived on earth. We pray that God will grant her soul eternal rest, protect her children and direct their ways to the right path.”

  The MD/CEO of Anambra Newspaper and Printing Corporation, publishers of National Light Newspaper, Ka Ọ Dị Taa and SportLightXtra, Chuka Nnabuife, consoled the family of Maduagwuna and presented some items of condolence to Mr Victor Mafuagwuna on behalf of the entire staff of ANPC.

He said, “we came to sympathise with you because the father of your late daughter, Mr Victor Maduagwuna is one of us. Your community is well represented in National Light. So we are here to mourn with our colleague and his family”.

  Sir Nnabuife also prayed that her soul will find eternal rest in the Lord.

  The traditional ruler of the town, Igwe Ezekwesili Maduagwuna welcomed and thanked the MD/CEO of ANPC, Sir Chuka Nnabuife and the entire staff of the corporation for their warm presence to sympathise with them, noting that it is painful to lose a child who is expected by the family to go further miles and achieve goals in life. He prayed that God will grant them journey mercy back to their destination to meet their various families.

An aunt of the deceased,  Mrs Bessy Anidebe, while speaking to the National Light reporter said that death was inevitable, adding that she feels the lifeless state of her niece as they were both in the hospital before she passed on.

“I feel so sad to see my niece lying lifeless. We were together in the hospital before she died. She has six children with her husband and I pray that her children will leave long and be the light of their family. I also pray that God will send His Angels to guide and protect them, make them great people in life even as their mother has left them in their early age. May God forgive her sins and grant her soul eternal rest”.

  One of the staff of ANPC, Mrs Eunice Nwankwo,  thanked the traditional ruler of Awba Ofemili,  Igwe Ezekwesili Maduagwuna and the entire family of Maduagwuna on behalf of the staff of National Light, asking God to comfort them at this time of their grieve. She also prayed that God will give them financial breakthrough as they endeavor to raise the children of their late daughter.
