Rev Mgbike, Nwobu others extol late Anagor



ANY believer that has God in his life should not be afraid even in death because death is the transition into eternal life. There is indeed life after death and it is only in Christ that we have that assurance.

  This was made known by the Vicar, Our Saviours Anglican Church, Emmaus House, Awka,  Rev  Azubuike Mgbike as the remains of Late Sir. Obi Anagor was laid to rest at his home town, Umudioka, Awka in Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra State.

  Rev Mgbike while praying God to grant the soul of Late Anagor an eternal rest, called on Christians to always know that death is an evitable end to eternal life.

  In his tribute, the state chairman, People Democratic Party (PDP), Anambra State, Ndubuisi Nwobu  while consoling the family, described the deceased as a gentle, kind, peaceful and loving man who was always interested in things that will bring progress and development in his community and in every group he found himself.

  While extolling the good virtues of the deceased during his life and times, the brother to the wife, Rev Obi Nwokoye expressed that the deceased was a purposeful person who valued and wanted the best for  his family members and all around him, adding that it was a painful death ”it came unexpected but nothing is accidental to God”.

 One of the deceased sons, Chukwuemeka Anagor  said that his father left a good legacy for the family and also promised to take care of the family  according to his wish.  “Our dad is no longer with us physically but will forever live in our hearts till eternity”.

 In their separate condolences, Mr. Patrick Nwangwu, and Prof. Micheal Uchenna Orji sympathised with the family, noting that he will be greatly missed in Anambra State and in particularly Awka South L.G.A as they described him as straightforward person who stood on the truth always.

  In a vote of thanks, the brother of the deceased, Umeadi Victor Anagor thanked God for the success of the burial and all who stood by them during the interment.
