COVID-19: Finally, North Korea admits shut down of border

NORTH Korean has finally admitted enhanced border controls to fight the coronavirus.

  It was gathered that leader of the country, Kim Jong-un, yesterday, called for the nation to be put on “maximum alert” against COVID-19 at  a meeting where he urged North Koreans to remain vigilant to the disease and that easing anti-coronavirus measures would lead to an “unimaginable and irretrievable crisis”.

  According to reports, North Korea had “completely shut down its border, territorial air and sea and continues to strengthen its work to completely prevent the flow of the coronavirus”.

  Signs have been spotted recently that border controls were being eased as the already-suffering economy now plummets into further chaos.
