Okafor sympathises with Momah family

The member representing Nnewi North in Anambra State House of Assembly, Nonso Okafor has tendered a deep sympathy to the family of Momah, in Umudim Nnewi on the demise of the death of Major Gen. Sir Samuel Momah.

Hon. Okafor described the death of Major Gen Momah as a huge loss not only to Nnewi constituency, but also to the different political and professional establishments he served in Nigeria.

“Having served as Chief Administrator and Adjutant General of the Nigerian Army, Director of National War College, Minister of Science and Technology, Member of the Governing Council of the University of Jos, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, and Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic, Uwana, Major General Momah died at the time when his counsel, experience and contribution was more needed in the development of Nnewi, Anambra and Nigeria.

As a man who dedicated his time to the service of humanity, his death leaves a great vacuum in our hearts and minds which will be difficult to fill, as he was a quintessential man.”

The lawmaker finally prayed that God will give his family and ndi Nnewi, the courage and fortitude to bear the loss.
