Sir Chuka, 52, who praised God for adding another year to his years, advised his friends and well wishers to always appreciate God, pointing out that many people at various levels in life have different difficulties which could not give them the privilege to praise and appreciate God.

“Some people are stronger than us but could not see the sunlight. My coming here is a blessing after working in the South West and being in journalism for a long period of time. Some people said that it has been an abandoned place and gave a lot of discouragement. I praise God today for being with us”.

The Secretary of NUJ, Emma Udeagha, commended the MD for what he has achieved so far and prayed God to give him more wisdom to soar higher.

She appreciated him for giving a new look to the organisation and urged the entire staff to emulate him in doing the right thing irrespective of what people say about them.

Also, the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Obiano  on Post Primary Education, Dr. Paul Ifeanyi, who is also a novelist, thanked the staff of ANPC for their corporation with his brother and friend who celebrated his birthday, noting that he has brought a wonderful change in the organisation despite of people’s opinion.

“ If you really know him, you will know that he is a man of many parts. We are not celebrating him today because he is a good man. He is not a very good man. He is equally not a bad man but he is being himself- a motivator. He is doing what God created him to do”.

She further said that his ability to make everybody work to achieve success makes some people to dislike the person.

“As a parent, i like it when I notice that you don’t like me. That convinces me that I am doing my job. Therefore, Sir Chuka is just being a father and the managing director which he came here to do. He is not a bad person. He is working and whether you like it or not, it wouldn’t stop him from doing what he wants to do”.

She thanked him for impacting positively on their lives.
