Chief Nnetu said that their members have continued to enjoy the light supply of the installed 50KV generator in order to avoid usage of ill maintained small generators that can cause fire inferno.

He said that their major problem was the entry point into the timber trade site which jerks the vehicles with timber logs from some states like Delta and Western states , and has pulled down the timber loaded vehicles; hence, most of them stop at Onitsha and make them pay dearly to manageably bring them back to Nnewi.

He expressed joy that the governor has been encouraging the youths in training and empowerment to make them self-reliant. He was of the opinion that youths and jobless people should be encouraged so that they can think less about crime.
